Since 1985, I have been giving private English and Dutch lessons primarily to non-native speakers.

My students range from professionals to secondary school pupils, from beginner to university level.

Each lesson is entirely tailored to fit the student’s requirements, capacity and goals. So, whether you need extra support with grammar, want to expand your vocabulary, build confidence in conversation, improve your pronunciation or need help preparing for an exam or presentation, I can help. What’s more, according to my students, my lessons are not only effective but also very enjoyable.

I have a degree in English and am TEFL certified. Besides being fluent in English and Dutch, I have a good knowledge of German and basic knowledge of Arabic, French and Italian. I have found that having some knowledge of a student’s native language can make explaining things easier.
